Wales Cardiff Bay Week 03

In October 2021 ASH-CG was asked to supply an ECI team to develop a programme and delivery strategy for one of our most valued clients, Balfour Beatty on Cardiff Bay Track Doubling.

The project consists of the installation of three new crossovers & the installation of approximately 1200m of new track and realignment/renewal of the existing line. Prep works were carried in weekends 52/01 with the 1st of 3 blockades commencing in weekend 03. In this blockade we will commence construction of the of the new line and excavation of parts of the new down alignment and bulk spoil away. All works progressing safely in line with the programme.
