DLR September 2023

Our dedicated teams have been working tirelessly over the weekend to tackle a significant project on the Docklands Light Railway. The project involved structural expansion joint replacement, between Shadwell and Towergateway, on both eastbound and westbound lines. A total of 8 structural expansion joints were replaced, along with the necessary Percussion drilling, diamond Over- coring, Grout Pad Installation and welding of 16 rail joints
The DLR presents its unique set of challenges, primarily due to its elevated nature and our teams worked around the clock, to ensure that this vital project stayed on track.
We are pleased to report that all planned works have been safely and successfully completed.
