Our Civils department had installed a 7m wide Gabion Wall for a new TIS, this consisted of digging out the existing bank which resulted in 86 Tonne of spoil, Installing the new TIS base for a double TIS. Then a subbase was required for the new gabion baskets which were filled with 100mm-200mm of stone and backfilled with 6N to meet the existing level at the top of the bank along with a new GRP handrail behind the Gabion wall.
